I received my Bachelor of Science in Tehran, Iran at Amirkabir University of Technology in Chemical engineering. I received my first Master of Science degree from University of Alberta, Canada. My thesis was on pipeline transport of two-phase flow of water and clay particles. I received my second Master of Science from HEC Lausanne in Actuarial Sciences. I did my internship and my thesis on the calculation of the cost of providing various Social security benefits to low-income countries across the world, working for the Social Protection Department - ILO. I currently work as an artist-in-residence on art-related technological projects. I currently live in Saarbrücken, Germany.

Over the years, I have taken many extracurricular courses and studied very diverese subjects such as drawing, painting, calligraphy, litterature, new languages, psychology, physical wellness, and and and! (thats the persian way to say and so on:-)
